WESTFIELD, IN— Grand Park welcomes Suburban Indy Shows and Whale of a Sale to its Events Center in the coming weeks expanding beyond the sports culture. 

“Grand Park will always be in the business of sports, but the Grand Park Events Center is large enough to attract conventions,” explains Mayor Andy Cook. “The 370,000 sq. ft. facility is three full size multipurpose fields under one roof and with the addition of hard surface flooring the space is versatile. Residents, families and businesses who might not have a connection to youth sports and therefore Grand Park, now have a reason to visit our one of kind sports campus.”

Suburban Indy Shows will be debuting their Home & Outdoor Living Fall Show at the Grand Park Events Center from September 21 -24. Attendees should expect to connect with local suburban businesses to discuss landscape and home improvement ideas while also being able to sample and purchase local food, artists, and decor.

The hours will be from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Thursday, September 21-23 and from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 24, 2017. General admission at the door will be $10.00, online tickets are $8.00, and kids 12 & under are free.

Returning for its second time this year is the children’s consignment event known as Whale of a Sale, which will take place from September 28 -30 at the Grand Park Events Center. The popular event, which is Indiana’s largest children’s consignment show, features more than 42,000 square feet of clothing from baby to teen sizes, toys, furniture and more at a fraction of the retail cost.

Public sale hours are Friday, September 29 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Saturday, September 30 from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.  Many items are half price on Saturday. Demand to shop early has led to a VIP pre-sale Thursday, September 28, 2017  from 6-9 p.m. Tickets for the VIP pre-sale can be purchased for $10.00 New parents may also register to shop early Friday, September 29, 2017 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. for the Enfamil New Parents Sale.

Grand Park Sports Campus is also assisting this year’s Home-A-Rama by providing complimentary parking. Home-A-Rama runs from September 21 through October 8, 2017 at the Lakes at Grassy Branch in Westfield.
