WESTFIELD, IN – The Prep Baseball Report 2016 Future Games powered by Under Armor are taking place at Grand Park this weekend featuring 80 teams comprised of the best uncommitted Class of 2018 prospects and select 2019 prospects from 30 states. The Future Games began Thursday, August 4 and will continue through Saturday, August 6.
The Prep Baseball Report Future Games is the premier summer scouting event for Class of 2018 prospects and select 2019 prospects. Last year, more than 110 colleges from all over the country were in attendance. For more information, visit www.prepbaseballreport.com/2016-future-games.
Also taking place this weekend is the US Technical Championship (USTC) technical skill soccer competition on Sunday, August 7. Brought to Indiana through a partnership with Indiana Soccer, the Indiana Olympic Development Program (ODP) and Meulensteen North America, the USTC is the only event of its kind in North America. It is designed to educate players on the technical skills necessary to dominate their opponent.
Several Regional Winners are chosen in each age group and invited to the USTC National Finals in Atlanta late fall, 2016, where Age Group National Winners and an overall Grand Champion will be awarded. Overall age-group winners and Grand Champion receive an invite to participate in the Dutch Technical Championship held in Oct. 2017. Grand Park in Westfield, Indiana, is a destination like no other.
