WESTFIELD, IN – The ASBA announced their annual award recipients to those builders that best exemplify construction excellence. The Motz Group was given the silver award in the “Outstanding Multi-Field Facility of the Year” category for their involvement in the installation of the synthetic turf fields at Grand Park.
“The vision behind Grand Park was to build an industry, but you can’t build the hospitality industry without having a world class facility for people to visit,” explains Westfield Mayor Andy Cook. “When building Grand Park the city administration and the Westfield City Council were always focused on building a one of a kind sports facility that would be the best in the country and the world. The Motz Group brought a level of dedication, expertise and perfection that has helped make Grand Park the success it is today.”
“Contributing to the development of the Grand Park Sports Campus has been an incredible experience for our team. We are proud that our Motz synthetic turf systems are a contributing element to such an impressive facility. Grand Park is aptly named: grand in scope, grand in vision, and grand in purpose. The award given by the ASBA is well deserved,” shared Zach Burns, President of The Motz Group.
The ASBA considered several criteria when making their decisions, such as project layout and design, site work, drainage, base construction, surface, amenities, innovation and overall impression. ASBA is a national organization for builders and suppliers of materials for tennis courts, running tracks, field and indoor sports flooring. Visit www.sportsbuilders.org for more information.
